Captivate 6 publishing - various problems

I'm having all sorts of problems with Captivate 6 not publishing my course correctly. Most slides play, but afte a while, playback starts to break down and yoi have to restart the course. A colleague can publish the fiel just fine and it plays on my computer with no errors. But each time I publish, varuious playback problems arise: backgrounds don't appear, I get a black screen, text doesn't appear, the course pauses unexpectedly, and various other issues to which there seems to be no rhyme or reason. I've tried trashing my preferences, which helps somewhat, but doesn't last. I've tried reinstalling Captivate 6 to no avail. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  • When I publish my video, for some reason I could not see all 3 texts (success, failure & hint) for my Click Box. So when I click on the box, it should give me the success text that I typed but its now its not. Can someone help me?

  • I have found that if you examine the timeline the clickbox must be on top of everything else (hint and succes and failure captions). I don't know why Captivate doesn't generate the click boxes to be on top automatically when you create the training simulation. Instead we had to touch every slide (200 of them) and drag the clickbox on top. This has been an issue it seems since version 4. I am hoping it was fixed with 7. This does not seem to be an issue if you go to Edit> Preferences>Recording Modes Training Simulation and only go with the defaults. When you also include either Captions> Add text captions or Mouse > Add Highlight boxes on click the hints do not appear when you preview the file. It then doesn't act as you would want it to.

  • I am facing the problem of video integration in Adobe Captivate 6.0. I'm able to play the video in preview mode, but when I try to publish, video is not playing from swf file. Please advice / help me to get rid of this issue.
